You hand your toddler the iPad, step away for two minutes, and come back to an ad, an autoplay video, or a "buy coins" pop-up. Pumlo is one dad's fix: a calm playroom of 48 learning games with no ads, no third-party tracking, no account — and nothing to read, so even a 2-year-old can play alone.
Inside are 48 games in seven areas — numbers and counting, letters and phonics, Montessori, colors, shapes, logic, and creative play — for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners. Everything runs offline on iPad and iPhone, the parent gate keeps purchases and settings out of small hands, and a daily play limit ends with a friendly "see you tomorrow".
What's inside
Numbers
Pop balloons, feed the monster, drive the number train, trace the 123s, hook the right fish at the pond.
Letters
Fire the letter cannon, trace the ABCs, match big and small letters, pop first-sound bubbles.
Montessori
The Pink Tower, Counting Sticks, Sound Pairs, Cylinder Fit and a Sky, Land & Sea sort.
Colors
A water-sort juice puzzle, color matching, fruit pop and a paint-mixing lab.
Shapes
Match shapes, fold boxes, build with blocks, find each shadow, fill the Bead Blocks tray.
Logic
Memory match, jigsaws, a hedge maze, car parking, tidy shelves, animal sudoku, Find the Hedgehogs and more.
Create
A coloring book, spin art, a xylophone, a baby phone and a draw-a-line ball game.
How it plays
Nothing to read
Everything speaks in pictures, colors and sound, and every game opens with a little demo hand.
Big, forgiving touch targets
Designed for toddler fingers; landscape play on iPad and iPhone.
Calm pacing
No timers screaming, no losing screens.
Works offline
Nothing is downloaded or sent while playing — flights, road trips, waiting rooms.
Parent gate and daily limit
Grown-up areas ask you to read a number in words; set a daily limit that ends with a friendly “see you tomorrow”.
Badges to collect
Beat a game to earn its shiny badge for the shelf.

Questions
Which ages is it for?
Ages 2–6. Pick an age band in the parent area and the game suggestions adjust; change it anytime.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Nothing is downloaded or sent while playing, so it works on a plane or in the car.
Can my child buy something by accident?
No. Every purchase sits behind the parent gate, and there are no coin packs or per-game purchases.
Does one purchase cover the whole family?
Yes. Family Sharing is on, so one purchase unlocks Pumlo on every device in your family.
Is Pumlo free?
Three games are free forever: Pop the Balloons, Shape Match and the Xylophone. The other 45 need a plan — monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase — and every plan starts with a free trial.
What does my child actually learn?
Counting and number recognition, letter shapes and first sounds, colors, shapes, sorting and matching, memory and simple logic — all inside play, with no worksheets or scores.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Pumlo is on the App Store for iPad and iPhone today; an Android version is in the works.
What does the parent gate do?
Every grown-up area — purchases, restore, settings, external links — asks you to read a number written in words. Three wrong answers pause it for 30 seconds.
What data does it collect?
None. No account, no analytics, no ad networks. A few settings stay on your device and can be erased from the parent area. Child Information Protection →
